I herd from Cpt. Rich Hartman, from the Fish'n Mish'n(fishinmission100@hotmail.com), again today. He had another successful charter today with over 70 fish brought to the boat. They had 8 keeper grouper to 20+ lbs, a 40 lb kingfish, many scamp and mangrove snapper. They had quite a few break offs until they switched to heaver gear. They were fishing ledges in 80 ft. of water out of Johns Pass.

Happy Thanksgiving 2006! I hope that some of you are having fish instead of turkey today. The strong north winds have finally layd down so I am sure that more then a few of you were able to get out of port and get your Thanksgiving Day king fish. The reports I was getting before the front blew through was kings and cobia. Capt. Rich Hartman, aboard the "Fish'n Mish'n", had a great charter last week off of St. Petersburg with several king fish to 40+ pounds and a cobia at 73 pounds. The time to fish is now!

Welcome to Floridas F.I.N.(fishermans information network). This is a place to find the resources you need to have a fun and successful day on the water, to learn where the fish are biting, to ask questions on how to catch them, and to do a little bragging about the big one that did not get away. If you are a guide, own a bait shop, tackle shop, marina, or other fishing / boating business drop me a line. I will be publishing lists of places to get the services and goods you need to have a great day fishing.
Wishing you calm seas and bent rods,
