Upcoming Events and Seminars
This Saturday, April 11, Capt. Tom Van Horn and I will be conducting the first of a series a flats fishing seminars at Mosquito Creek Outdoors in Apopka. The first class will be "Introduction to Flats Fishing" and will be held from 10-12pm. Our second class we be held May 16 and will cover Practical Fishing Knots. Capt. Tom and I will be covering all aspects of flats fishing including tackle and bait selection, casting, finding fish, reading the water, seasonal trends, and more. Please join us and bring your flats fishing questions.
The Coastal Angler Magazine Fishing and Boating Expo will be held April 17-19 and the Melbourne Auditorium. There will be seminars from local and celebrity guides all three days. I will be giving a seminar on "Sight Fishing the Flats" on Saturday at 12pm. I will be following Capt. Mark Nichols the owner of DOA Lures.
