The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission wishes everybody a Happy 4th of July and reminds boaters on the Suwannee River to be careful of jumping sturgeon.
My husband and I have a place on the Suwannee River. We love long distance riding on our jet skis. I wish the sturgeon season was not so long. I have had a few Very Close calls with huge ones. Never-the-less, we continue to ride about twice per month. I wish they could move them to a larger river? I know there is no such luck and it is the sturgeons home.
