Wednesday, October 7, 2009 Hardcore tuna fishing!
Two lovely lady anglers from Ormond Beach, FL went on a quick half day fishing excursion aboard the Capt. Easy with Capt. Bruce Anderson and scored big, landing a total of 23 tasty blackfin tunas and 4 skipjack tunas. The largest blackfin was a 25lb whopper, and a mount of the trophy fish is being prepared as we speak. Francine Bush and Gina Deiparine were pleasantly "wore out" by all the exciting tuna action at the 409 hump. So just a reminder that the fishing action is still red hot in Islamorada, the weather is nice and the crowds are small, a perfect time to visit our island paradise!
