Spoted Sea Trout Season Open

The one month closed harvest season on Spotted Sea Trout in Florida's Northeast and Northwest regions has ended. You can now keep Spotted Sea Trout in all Florida waters. Here are the current regulations.


  • 15"-20" slot limit with 1 fish over 20" per day

  • 4 fish limit in South Region ( Areas south of Fred Howard Park on the Gulf Coast and the Flagler-Volusia Co. line on the Atlantic coast.)

  • 5 fish limit in Northeast and Northwest Regions
