Spotted Seatrout Season Open N. E./N.W.
Spotted Seatrout season is now open in Florida's Northeast and Northwest regions. The Northeast region is all state waters north of the Flagler-Volusia County line. The Northwest region starts at the western most point of Fred Howard Park Causeway in Pinellas County, about 1.17 miles south of the Pinellas-Pasco County line and includes all state waters north and west of that point. In the Northeast and Northwest Regions, you may now keep 5 spotted seatrout per day between 15" and 20" long. One of the fish you keep may be over 20". In the South Region you may keep 4 seatrout between 15" and 20" with one of those fish being over 20".
