Islamorada Reef Fishing Non-Stop

Wednesday, November 4, 2009
A little Islamorada reef action!!

The reef action was red hot yesterday, offshore of Islamorada.

The Trotti family from Carrollton, Georgia went out on the Capt. JR with JR Rudzin for a some exciting bottom fishing at our local reefs and scored big time. As usual, Capt. JR put his satisfied customers on non-stop fishing action!

Curtis, Charlotte, Robbie and Katie landed 12 Mangrove snappers, 7 Yellowtail snappers, 1 Triggerfish, 1 Cero, 2 King mackerels, and 2 large Amberjacks in the neighborhood of 30 pounds each. Not too shabby! You know they ate well last night!!

Meanwhile, Lloyd Snead from Prosperity, South Carolina was not to be outdone. Lloyd just wanted to catch anything big that would put up a good fight. And Lloyd hired the right man for the job, veteran Capt. Butch Green.

Butch put the South Carolinian on four nice sized Kingfish, including a large 20 pound+ smoker, 4 Bonitas, and a very nice Almaco Jack. Lloyd told me: "that big King put up quite a fight!" Ask and you shall receive Loyd!

If you too have an itch for a good Sportfishing fight, just contact me Ernie or Nicki at 305 664 2321 x642 to book an exciting Florida Keys offshore fishing trek with the top Captains in the Biz, the experienced captains (and mates!) of Holiday Isle Resort and Marina. Tight lines!
