I spoke with Mac Rae's Bait House in Homosassa this morning. They tell me that few people are fishing since the front blew through on Friday. Before that the fishing was pretty good with lots of speckled trout, redfish, and spanish mackerel being caught inshore and some nice grouper coming from offshore. This is similar to the information I was receiving last Friday. That day I called at least ten different bait shops, from every corner of the state and got the same report. NO ONE IS FISHING IN THIS WIND! All we can do right now is make sure all our gear is ready to go because when the weather clears, the fishing will be outstanding.
