Grouper Closed Season In Gulf

Federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico are closed to the harvest of Black, Gag, and Red Grouper from February 15-March15. All other grouper species may still be taken from federal waters of the gulf. There is no closed season in effect for state waters. In Florida, Federal waters begin 9 nautical miles offshore.
