Trout Season Closed NE/NW Regions

Spoted Seatrout are now closed to harvest in Florida's Northeast and Northwest regions. The closed season will remain in effect through the month of February. The Northeast reagon is all waters north of the Flagler/Volusia County line. The Northwest region is all waters north and west of the Fred Howard Park Causeway, (about 1.17 miles south of the Pasco/Pinellas County line). The entire southern half of the state remains open to harvest. There is a 15" - 20" slot limit on spoted seatrout and you may keep 1 fish over 20". There is also a 4 fish per day bag limit on spoted seatrout in the south region.
