This morning I talked with William at Outcast Bait & Tackle in Pensacola. He tells me that, in the bay, the redfish are a little slow right now but flounder and sheepshead fishing is picking up. Look for the sheepshead around bridge pilings. Live or frozen shrimp is the bait of choice for flounder and sheepshead. Offshore, the grouper are hitting menhaden and chub mackerel.
