I spoke with several fishing piers along the Atlantic coast today. Jacksonville Beach Pier anglers are catching bluefish on almost any lure you throw in the water, spanish mackerel on Clark Spoons and Got-Cha Plugs, pompano on shrimp, ladyfish and spadefish. St. Johns Co. Ocean Pier fishermen are catching bluefish on lures and spoons, and pompano on shrimp when the tide is strong.
