At Big Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach this weekend, anglers were catching cobia and spanish mackerel. Cobia fishing is best early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Jumbo shrimp, greenbacks, pinfish and white bait all work well as bait for cobia. Spanish mackerel are best in the morning. Clark Spoons and Got-Cha Plugs will catch spanish mackerel.
