Marathon Has Dirty Water But Lots of Dolphin

I spoke with the Tackle Box on Marathon a short time ago. They tell me that the strong winds of the last three weeks has near shore waters churned up, but offshore there are plenty of dolphin around. A few yellowtail snapper are being caught from the Seven Mile Bridge. Pinfish are the best bait. The dolphin can be caught in 600ft of water by trolling along weed lines and other floating debris. Triple-d Lures and ballyhoo are the best baits when trolling for dolphin. For more information contact;
