I spoke with Jacksonville Beach Pier in Jacksonville this morning. Anglers there are catching nice sized flounder in the surf on finger mullet and live shrimp. Whiting are also biting well and can be caught on shrimp or sand flees. A good number of speckled trout and pompano are being caught, butt they are all to short to keep. Live shrimp is the best bait for the trout, the pompano like sand flees and shrimp. For more information contact;
