Fishing Improving on Nassua Sound

I was just talking with Bill at Nassua Sound Bait & Tackle at the south end of Amelia Island. Bill tells me that the water temperatures are warming, and the fishing is picking up! Whiting turned on last week and Bills customers are catching bunches of them from the Nassua Sound Bridge and from the beach. While I was talking with Bill, a family from Cleavland stoped into his shop to tell him about the whiting and trout they had just caught on the beach. Limits of speckled trout and redfish are being caught by fishermen using mud minnows and throwing jigs inside of Nassua Sound. Big black drum are starting to show around the bridge. Clams are the best bait. For more information contact;
