St. Augustine

I spoke with Tina at Oldest City Bait & Tackle in St. Augustine. She tells me that the weather is erratic, with good weather one day and strong winds and rain the next. This is making the fishing there is kind of slow. On the good days her customers are catching a lot of small bluefish on the beach and in the inter coastal waterway. There are also a lot of whiting on the beach and the redfish are in the creeks. Live shrimp and mullet are your best baits. Offshore, the grouper and snapper fishing is good.
