Panhandle Fishing Piers

I spoke with three different fishing piers in the Florida panhandle this afternoon.
Gary at Panama City Beach Municipal Pier tells me that anglers are catching pompano and spanish mackerel. The pompano are taking sand flees, pompano jigs, and shrimp. Spanish mackerel are hitting Clark Spoons the best along with Got-Cha Plugs. For more information contact;

Trace at Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier was telling me that cobia are a steady catch, some good sized king mackerel are being caught along with spanish mackerel and pompano. Eels and cobia jigs are the best baits for cobia, the king mackerel like blue runners and hard tails, spanish mackerel will take a Got-Cha Plug or Clark Spoon, and the pompano love sand flees or pompano jigs.
